For almost 100 years, the Blitz Manufacturing Company, Inc. has manufactured environmentally safe, non-toxic metal and jewelry polishes, jewelry cleaners, polishing cloths and jewelry accessories. In 1912, Auburn Specialties Company was established in Auburn, New York, where the original “Blitz Cloth” was developed. In that year, the word “Blitz” was trademarked as it applies to jewelry polishing cloths and liquid polishes. Over the years the company grew and developed the United States Military into one of its primary customers. The product known as the “Blitz cloth” to millions of servicemen is now part of a display in the Smithsonian Institute of World War II military life.
Since March 1985, a manufacturing facility was established in Jeffersonville, Indiana to facilitate world wide distribution. This facility currently occupies 40,000 square feet in the America Place Industrial Park in Clark County and Blitz is one of the two longest, continuous operating occupants. The Company’s key strengths to successful consumer products manufacturing are an excellent management structure, a cross-trained work force which enables Blitz to tailor individual programs and ideas that serve all of its customers' needs quickly and efficiently. Yes, Blitz still manufactures its jewelry cleaner and jewelry polishing cloths in THE UNITED STATES!
Blitz currently supplies jewelry cleaners, travel cases, jewelry cleaning machines and many more products to 50% of the $100 million super sellers (top US retailers and department stores with annual Sales in excess of $100 million), 50% of the top 40 retail jewelry chains in the US, all of the major TV shopping Channels and a majority of music manufacturers, wholesalers and most recently has launched into the gift market with the newly added “Goddess Travel” products line. Blitz also supplies many of the most prestigious & prominent e-commerce retailers worldwide.
